Yee Ha! Ride 'em Cowboy 3

It took a while for this to get from Penny to me (thanks to the services of Snail Mail) but
Penny's postcard finally arrived today.

Wrapped appropriately in The Stars and Stripes, Penny's wonderful layered
treasure was well worth waiting for!

Penny tells me she found an encyclopedia in a charity shop that had a page in it about Buffalo Bill.

I love how she placed all the layers behind the cactus plants.

No, please do not shoot the buffalo.......

.....they can get mighty angry!

Naughty cowboys, we say Native Americans now,  y'know.

The edges of the paper singed on the camp fire, perhaps?

Great background of the American map and a happy waving cowboy.

Penny writes that this is from a book of spelling prompts.

I love images from old books and I adore this postcard and appreciate all the thought and effort that went into its creation.
Thank you so much, Penny!

I second Chrissie on this one. Would have loved to have had that book to play around with. Great postcard!

Have to agree - and what a great way to give a new lease of life to an old book.
